Sales Assistant

Sales Assistants support the sales team and will have the opportunity to move into a sales position, The following sections discuss the expectations for both a Sales Manager and a Sales Assistant:

Sales team members are responsible for identifying, targeting and completing the sales process for new customers as well as providing customer care throughout the completion of the project. Sales managers and sales assistants will work together to provide exemplary service to CIG’s valued clients. The role of outside sales manager/assistant can mean a lot of different things at various companies. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working within defined criteria to cull and reform existing prospects
  • Performing CRM data entry
  • Meeting monthly/quarterly sales goals
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Prospecting, marketing and promoting new business
  • Follow up with potential clients throughout the sales process
  • Work and communicate effectively with customers and team members

Surety Specialist

Carlina Indemnity Group is seeking an individual with a proven record of outstanding customer service
who will partner with Account Executives in servicing our commercial & contract surety clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Communicate with clients to accept daily orders of contract & commercial surety bonds
  • Efficiently handle all aspects of issuing bonds from start to finish
  • Handle ‘rush’ items immediately and professionally
  • Enter accurate client information into agency systems, including Bond-Pro

General Requirements:

  • Intelligence and drive to consistently improve
  • Be able to maintain focus and accuracy when operating under time constraints
    Excellent communication and organization skills

Required Bonding Experience:

  • Communicating with contractors to understand their bond needs
  • Determining necessary information to collect from contractors
  • Reading and interpreting construction company financial statements
  • Obtaining bond approvals from underwriters at multiple surety companies
  • Prepare invoices in accordance with rate approvals
  • Preparing contract & commercial surety bonds for execution
  • Coordinating execution of bonds to assure timely delivery to clients
  • Process bond cancellations and credits
  • Contact recipients of bonds to collect payment

Nice to haves:

  • 2-4 years surety, construction, or other relevant experience
  • Experience with Bond-Pro
  • Expertise with all MS Office Products

Our large growing agency has a collaborative team and is looking for a Surety Account Manager who is a team player and self-motivated. You will be responsible for contract reviews, issuance & tracking of bid and performance & payment bonds, working with AR Team in generating invoices within our system.

Producers are hands on and seeking a knowledgeable Surety Account Manager with 3+ years of contract & commercial surety experience. In this role, you will assist Account Management with large national accounts throughout the entire bond process. Candidates will have excellent communication & time management skills, is a classic self-starter with exception organizational skills. CIG offers excellent benefits & compensation.
