Sales Assistant

Sales Assistants support the sales team and will have the opportunity to move into a sales position, The following sections discuss the expectations for both a Sales Manager and a Sales Assistant:

Sales team members are responsible for identifying, targeting and completing the sales process for new customers as well as providing customer care throughout the completion of the project. Sales managers and sales assistants will work together to provide exemplary service to CIG’s valued clients. The role of outside sales manager/assistant can mean a lot of different things at various companies. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working within defined criteria to cull and reform existing prospects
  • Performing CRM data entry
  • Meeting monthly/quarterly sales goals
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Prospecting, marketing and promoting new business
  • Follow up with potential clients throughout the sales process
  • Work and communicate effectively with customers and team members

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
  • Supremely organized and efficient; able to manage multiple priorities in an efficient and positive manner
  • High attention to detail; possess a good memory for remembering data and details
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Advanced computer and typing skills
  • Enjoys fast-paced, deadline-oriented job environment

  • Sales Experience – Preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of MS 356
