Founded in 2019 by Matthew Clarke, Carolina Indemnity Group is a privately owned surety-only agency specializing in bonds for contractors of all trades including Performance & Payment, Bid, Maintenance, and Warranty bonds. We are former underwriters which gives us the unique perspective of knowing not only how underwriters think, but also allows us to anticipate any requirements that come along. In short, you will have no surprises as a client of CIG, except very pleasant ones.

The firm is headquartered in downtown Charleston, South Carolina and is licensed in 48 states. We are appointed with every major bonding company, as well as specialty & regional surety companies.
